Combat Craig
On YouTube · Combat Craig and a team that includes former VA personnel, including ‘RaterX,’ a former VA rater
One of the biggest peer-educator channels in VA claims, with roughly 191,000 subscribers and more than a thousand videos demystifying the disability process. The teaching is plain-spoken and process-first: C&P exams, supplemental claims, Higher-Level Review, combined-ratings math, and the traps that cap a rating. The channel was still posting new claims videos in 2026.
Why we carry them. For many veterans this is the first classroom they ever find, and its ratings-math and appeals explainers are the peer canon the section should start from.
Carried with eyes open: a peer educator, not a VA-accredited representative — and his operation sells a paid Boot Camp and nexus-letter services. Watch the teaching; check any filing decision against the regulation itself and, where it counts, an accredited representative.
