Elizabeth Dole Foundation
On YouTube · Founded by Senator Elizabeth Dole in 2012; the nation’s lead advocate for military and veteran caregivers — the ‘Hidden Heroes.’
The Elizabeth Dole Foundation exists for the people this site is written from: the spouses, parents, and children who care for wounded, ill, and aging veterans. Its Hidden Heroes campaign and Dole Caregiver Fellows put individual caregivers — including a son caring for his father — on camera in their own words, and the channel is active now, with new uploads in 2025 and 2026.
Why we carry them. It is the caregiver seat, organized and on camera — the closest institutional peer to a son documenting his own father’s VA fight.
