Code of Support Foundation
Veteran services navigation nonprofit · National nonprofit founded in 2011, based in Alexandria, Virginia
Built for the moment a family doesn’t know which door to knock on. Its case coordinators take on complex, multi-problem cases one-to-one, and its PATRIOTlink database puts thousands of vetted, cost-free services into one searchable place — built with VA under a 2018 agreement so the resource list stays current.
Why we carry them. Most families in a VA fight don’t need one service, they need six at once and a human to coordinate them. That coordination is this foundation’s whole job.
Start here — their essential work
- Veteran Support Resources That Make a Difference (2026-01-14) — PATRIOTlink 3.0: what the rebuilt database does — four-step verification of every resource, eligibility-filtered search, and a self-referral network.
- 1776: Supporting Freedom Then & Now (2026-06-30) — Its 250th-anniversary post, told through a veteran and single mother whose case manager lined up housing help, mental-health resources, and community.
- Stories of Hope: 15 Years of Serving Military and Veteran Families — Fifteen years on: client stories across housing, financial, mental-health, legal, and family support — the shape of the caseload, in the families’ outcomes.
- Honoring Service, Sacrifice, and Support: Meet the 2025 MG Alan B. Salisbury Salute to Service Awardees — The 2025 salute awards, led by caregiver-ambassador Claudia Avila — a reminder the foundation formally honors caregivers, not just veterans.
